Examination Repository For Partnerships in Communal Policing for Issue Resolution 8th Version by Linda S. Miller
- ISBN-10 : 9781305960817
- ISBN-13 : 978-1305960817
Concentrating significantly on issue resolution and partnerships between communities and law enforcement, this all-encompassing manuscript offers a practical and current guide to effective communal policing. Following an initial exploration of the history and ideologies driving the movement that has significantly influenced modern police tactics, the writers highlight practical methodologies and essential competencies to aid readers in implementing efficient, real-world issue resolution within their neighborhoods. Given recent prominent instances of lethal force incidents that have strained the rapport between communities and law enforcement, the eighth edition draws from the recommendations in the Closing Report of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing and its advocacy for a renewed focus on communal policing to fortify public reliance and construct police credibility. The MindTap platform that complements this manuscript assists in refining techniques and fundamental concepts while immersing individuals in career-oriented decision-making scenarios, visual synopses, and other resources.
