  • ISBN-10 ‏ : ‎ 0324235011
  • ISBN-13 ‏ : ‎ 978-0324235012

This book provides a practical and realistic approach to the study of cost accounting, merging traditional teaching methods with the incorporation of innovative concepts. Cost-related topics are discussed within the framework of organizational strategy and operational procedures, emphasizing how cost management decisions are influenced by practices driven by quality, expenses, and creativity. Kinney, Prather-Kinsey, and Raiborn enhance the content with tangible examples and visual aids that help illustrate cost management strategies in a way that students can easily comprehend. The flexible structure of the book is suitable for either a one- or two-semester course, combined with clear and abundant visual aids that enable students to grasp complex subjects. The revision of the text’s organizational structure streamlines chapter material and reduces overlap between cost accounting and other business disciplines
