Since 2015, Ted Christensen has been on the faculty of the University of Georgia. Before joining UGA, he taught at Brigham Young University for 15 years and Case Western Reserve University for five years. He earned an accounting BS degree at San Jose State University, a MAcc degree in taxation at Brigham Young University, and a PhD in accounting from the University of Georgia. Professor Christensen has authored and coauthored articles featured in various publications such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Organizations and Society, Journal of Business Finance Accounting, Accounting Horizons, and Issues in Accounting Education. Professor Christensen has instructed financial accounting across all levels, financial statement analysis, introductory and intermediate managerial accounting, and corporate taxation. He has received numerous accolades for both teaching and research activities and actively participates in diverse American Accounting Association committees as a CPA.

Professor Budd has been a member of the faculty at Brigham Young University since 2005. Previous to her tenure at BYU, she taught at Utah State University for three years. She obtained a BS degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and a MAcc degree in taxation from Utah State University. Before embarking on her academic career, she worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in offices in Salt Lake, San Jose, and Phoenix, maintaining her CPA license. Professor Budd has taught financial accounting at all levels, introductory managerial accounting, undergraduate and graduate auditing, and partnership taxation. Her dedication to teaching and student advisement has garnered her several awards, including the Dean Fairbanks Teaching and Learning Faculty Fellowship at Brigham Young University and the School of Accountancy Advisor of the Year at Utah State University. She actively engages in various American Accounting Association committees and currently serves as the VP-Academic for the Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Section of the association.
