Eldon D. Enger earned a B.A. and an M.S. from the University of Michigan. He is professor emeritus of biology at Delta College, where he instructed biology, zoology, and environmental science and was engaged in curriculum and course development. Professor Enger advocates for diversity in teaching approach and believes that with a range of experiences, students are more inclined to learn. Professor Enger’s classes include varied activities such as writing tasks, student-led lectures, debates on contentious topics, field trips, individual projects, and discussions on local instances and current affairs. Professor Enger served as a Fulbright Exchange Teacher in Australia and Scotland, received the Bergstein Award for Teaching Excellence and the Scholarly Achievement Award from Delta College, and volunteered in Earthwatch Research Programs.

Brad holds the position of Dean Emeritus at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Prior to becoming the Dean in 1994, he was the inaugural Director of the Office of Environmental Education for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. Brad also acted as the Acting President of the National Environmental Education and Training Foundation in Washington, D.C., and as a Special Assistant to the EPA Administrator. Before relocating to Washington, D.C., Dean Smith was a political science and environmental studies professor for 15 years, and the executive director of an environmental education center and wildlife sanctuary for 5 years.
