Deliberately structured, Grown-ups Progress and Aging: Enhancement, Long Life and Obstacles presents scholars with an extensive comprehension of the aging procedure in adulthood from various standpoints. Writers Julie Hicks Patrick, Bert Hayslip, Jr., and Lisa Hollis-Sawyer apply principles of lifespan development to demonstrate readers the direction of alterations in early, middle, and late adulthood. Underneath its set of knowledge in science, the text outlines four chief themes to steer learners: a concentration on aging as enhancement; a worldwide approach on surroundings; a spirited, unified method to mixed coverage; and psychological science that translates into actual-life encounters. A closing chapter concentrates on techniques to enhance the occurrence of aging for all grown-ups.
