Robert J. Hughes (Ph.D., University of North Texas) specializes in business management and academic instruction. He has lectured in Introduction to Business for over 35 years both on-campus and online for Richland College, one of seven institutions affiliated with the Dallas County Community College District. Furthermore, he is the primary author for a business math project utilizing artificial intelligence and computer-aided instruction financed by the ALEKS Company. He is actively engaged in numerous educational and professional affiliations and has served as a consultant and investment counselor to individuals, companies, and charitable organizations. Formerly a teacher at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Management, San Francisco State University’s College of International Business, and other institutions. Professor Kapoor was granted the Business and Services Department’s Outstanding Professor Award. He has also operated as an Assistant National Bank Examiner for the U.S. Treasury Department and as an international trade consultant to Bolting Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Mumbai, India.
