Segmented into three sections, chapters commence with fundamental topics, including therapeutic communications, coping abilities, and professionalism. Administrative chapters delve into the operational aspects, exploring electronic medical records, ICD-10 coding, and practice management. THOROUGH MEDICAL ASSISTING also aligns clinical topics with ABHES, CAAHEP, and MAERB competencies, along with CLIA-waived procedures, and provides a comprehensive array of skills: documenting patient medical histories, recording vital signs, elucidating procedures, aiding during examinations and surgeries, infection control, and more.
