Corr has been educating and writing in the field of passing away, expiration, and grieving since 1975. He is a prolific contributor to this field, having authored, co-authored, or co-edited 30 books and over 100 chapters and articles in professional journals. Dr. Corr’s professional contributions have been honored with awards from the Association for Death Education and Counseling, Children’s Hospice International, the Center for Death Education and Bioethics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation. Donna M. Corr has worked as a nurse in various critical care, oncology, and hospice settings.
