Charline Dofka worked as a dental assistant/hygienist in oral surgery, orthodontics, and general practices before transitioning to a dental assisting instructor and Diversified Cooperative Health Occupations coordinator at Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Aside from teaching responsibilities, she established the National Honor Society’s involvement in the vocational school and oversaw the VICA commencement and conclusion ceremony team for national competitions representing Ohio. Having retired from active teaching, Dofka holds a lifelong membership in the Iota Lambda Sigma professional vocational teaching fraternity, DANB dental assisting certification, and retired status as a dental hygienist in West Virginia. She is currently involved in consulting practice work and advisory board roles. Dofka received an MS from the University of Dayton and pursued additional studies at Ohio State, West Virginia University, Kent State, and Ohio University.
