Essentials of Nursing Practice Second Edition by Catherine Delves Yates

Catherine Delves-Yates is a professional nurse and educator at the University of Health Sciences, University of East Anglia, UK. Her nursing career commenced as a student at the Nightingale School of Nursing, London, and she has provided clinical services in adult and pediatric critical care in the UK. She has also both taught and nursed in the United States, Africa, and Nepal. Catherine’s mission is to equip all nurses with the understanding, capabilities, and professionalism required to provide impactful and empathetic care to each of their patients. Additionally, Catherine holds an Honorary Teaching position at the University of Buea and the Higher Institute of Applied Medical Sciences, Cameroon. She serves as an international consultant to the Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Nepal. Currently, her research focuses on exploring if nursing students’ perspectives on health and illness evolve throughout their pre-registration nursing program.
