   Catherine Corrigall-Brown is a Connected Professor of Sociology at the College of British Columbia in Vancouver. Her study focuses on societal activities and rebellion, especially evaluating what maintains individuals engaged in activism over the years, framing, and identity. She is the author of 4 novels, including her initial book Patterns of Revolt, released with Stanford University Press. She has also published over 42 articles, book segments, and review compositions. These works have been featured in journals such as Social Forces, Mobilization, the American Behavioral Scientist, the International Journal of Comparative Sociology, Sociological Perspectives, Social Movement Studies and the Canadian Review of Sociology. This exploration was financed by grants from the National Science Foundation (US) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (Canada). She has served as the Chair of the Peace, Conflict, and Social Conflict division of the American Sociological Association and on the council of the Collective Action and Social Movement Segment of the American Sociological Association. She is presently a vice editor of Mobilization, the leading social actions periodical, and on the editorial panel of Sociological Compass. She was granted the Killam College Teaching Prize in 2017 and was honored with the Early Investigator Award for most excellent early-career scholar from the Canadian Sociological Association in 2013.
