Pamela Carter, an accomplished registered nurse and recognized educator, embarked on her healthcare journey upon attaining her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She commenced her professional career as a perioperative nurse and subsequently ventured into roles in a medical practice and as a registered nurse in a critical care unit. Pamela’s foray into teaching began informally during her tenure in the US Air Force Nurse Corps.

   Transitioning formally into the realm of health education, Pamela commenced her tenure at the Athens Area Technical Institute in Athens, Georgia, where she imparted knowledge in surgical technology. Following the acquisition of a master’s degree in adult vocational education from the University of Georgia, Pamela relocated to Florida to take up a teaching position for nursing assistant students.
