   Jerel Rosati is a Professor Emeritus of International Studies and Political Science at the University of South Carolina. Specializing in the theory and execution of foreign policy, specifically focused on the U.S. policymaking framework, he has engaged in numerous scholarly exchanges in countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Armenia, China, and Somalia over the years. Dr. Rosati’s academic background includes his role as a Research Associate at the Library of Congress’s Congressional Research Service (CRS) in Washington DC., his presidency of the International Studies Association’s Foreign Policy Analysis Section, and leadership in the Southern region of the ISA. He has also led significant academic programs, such as the U.S. Department of State Fulbright American Studies Institute on U.S. Foreign Policy, enriching the professional experiences of scholars-practitioners from various nations. An accomplished author, Dr. Rosati has produced substantial academic work and has been distinguished with awards for his teaching and mentoring efforts.
